How it Works

The performance upgrade is achieved by fitting your Elise with a remap package installed in the MG Rover ecu originally designed to accompany the K series Lotus engine. The fitment is straightforward and can be carried out at Kmaps Warwickshire/Yorkshire base. Home fitment is also possible - In S1 models fitment of the ready mapped ecu is straightforward, S2 models will have further notes on connecting the Stack speed/temp display. Contact us for details.

Once installed the ecu provides an immediate performance, repsonse and economy gain -  you will also have a fully reprogrammable unit that can cater for any further engine hardware updates/ reset rev limiter etc. 

S1 vvc/S2 models can even be set with a switchable track map option to further raise the rev limiter/add exhaust crackle etc.

 

In comparison with other aftermarket units this manufacturer produced ecu gives much greater hardware longevity (to withstand fatigue/extreme temperatures etc) coupled with the pedigree approach offered by the original K series factory mapping engineers..The service has the added bonus of being well under 50% of the cost of a less specialised aftermarket unit!
